Gavers Community Cancer Foundation needs your help. We have many opportunities for you to get involved before, during and after the event. Come to our kick off meeting or reach out to one of our chairs.
Help us break the $10 Million mark. Get involved. Time and talent needed in many areas.

The Barndance is a hallmark annual community event in McHenry County as our team consisting of 100% volunteers has raised more than $9.7 million in our fight against cancer.
Know that every ticket you buy or donation you make, you’re contributing to three powerful actions.
The highlight of the evening is the presentation of Never Be Defeated awards. Steve selects individuals or families for their positive outlooks, fantastic attitudes and an inspiration to others for are fight the fight.

It takes a village to make Barndance come to life each year, and only happens from the generousity sponsors and underwriters.
Volunteers are needed to help with the success of Barndance 2023. Whether you can give one hour or four, we’ll put you to work.
The Barndance Live Auction, Bucket Raffle and 50/50 are much loved activities. The energy that each creates is amazing. It helps drives home the reason we do Barndance…to raise money to fight cancer. Cancer has touched each of us.
Help us build all the baskets and packages ranging from restaurant gift certificates to amazing vacations. Through your donation, you’ll be making a tax-deductible contribution that will support Gavers Community Cancer Foundation mission to raise awareness, provide education, fund screenings and research. You will also benefit from the exposure to Barndance attendees as all donors are listed in the program.

STILL IN THE BIG TENT FOR 2024
The Barndance takes place on July 20th from 5pm to Midnight in Emricson Park. 1313 Kishwaukee Valley Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098.
There is FREE parking available at Emricson Park. You must have your tickets to enter park. PRINT OUT TICKETS to show parking agent. If you are walking into the park, you must show your tickets to the parking agents at the gate entrances.
No outside food, beverages or coolers of any kind are allowed at the event. Your ticket cost includes a Pork Chop/Chicken BBQ. You can purchase beer, wine, adult drinks and pop. Water and pop is free for attendees wearing a designated driver’s wristband.
Barndance is a 21 years or older event. Be prepared to show a Photo ID before entering the park and/or at entrance to event.
Tickets are not refundable. This is a rain or shine event.
